Windows Run line Commands

System Properties: Windows version / Size of Memory(RAM)

Steps:
* Click the Start button, select Run. Type Sysdm.cpl then click the Ok button.
* Click the Start button, select Run. Type Msinfo32 then click the Ok button.
* Click the Start button, select Run. Type Dxdiag then click the Ok button.
* Click the Start button, select Run. Type Winver then click the Ok button.
* To check System Properties, please press the Windows key + Pause/Break key at the same time.
* Click the Start button, select Control Panel. Double click the System item.
* Right click, My Computer icon on the Desktop, select Properties.

Windows Vista Run Command:

Steps:
* For Windows Vista, Launch the Run Command by pressing Windows key and R key at the same time.
* You can also access the Run command by pressing Windows logo key +R. http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/2515459c-a6ce-4004-90cd-15d7648b61d61033.mspx.

 Control Panel:

Steps:
* Click the Start button, select Run. Type Control then click Ok the button.

 Add/Remove Programs:

Steps:
* Can you please click on the Start button, go to the Control Panel, click Add/Remove programs and tell me what programs are installed in your computer?
* Click the Start button, select Run. Type Appwiz.cpl then click the Ok button. Tell me what programs are installed in your computer?

Internet Properties / Internet Options: Clear Cache
Steps:
* Open Internet Explorer, click Tools, Internet Options. On the General Tab click the Delete button, Delete Cookies and Temporary Internet Files.
* Click the Start button, select Run. Type Inetcpl.cpl then click the Ok button. On the General Tab click the Delete button, Delete Cookies and Temporary Internet Files.

 Display Properties:

Steps:
* Click the Start button, select Run. Type Desk.cpl then click the Ok button.
* Click the Start button, select Control Panel. Double click Display and then click Settings Tab. Adjust the Screen Resolution to 800x600 or 1024x768.

 Windows Firewall: On/Off

Steps:
* Click the Start button, select Run. Type Firewall.cpl then click the Ok button.
* Click the Start button, select Control Panel. Double click Security Center and then under Manage Security Settings click Windows Firewall, turn it On/Off.

 Shortcut to Run Command

 

* Click Start button, select Run.
* Press Windows key and R key at the same time.

Shortcut to DOS Command

* Click Start button, select Run.Type CMD then click the Ok button.
* Press Windows key and R key at the same time.(for Windows Vista)

Clear cache -Temp files( C:Documents&SettingsCurrent UserLocal SettingsTemp )

* Please click on start button, select run. Type %temp% and click ok. Delete all files in that folder.

Have you tried to clear cache? Click the Internet Explorer's Tools, Internet options. Delete cookies and temporary internet files.
