Internet Options: Internet Explorer 7
Steps:* Open Internet Explorer, click Tools, Internet Options. * Click the Start button, select Run. Type Inetcpl.cpl then click the Ok button.
1. On the General Tab, Browsing History click the Delete button, click on.... * 1.1 Temporary Internet Files button -copies of webpages, images, and media that are saved for faster viewing. * 1.2 Delete Cookies button -files stored on your computer by websites to save preferences such as login information. * 1.3 Delete History button -list if websites you have visited. * 1.4 Delete Forms button -saved information that you have typed into forms. * 1.5 Delete Passwords button -passwords that are automatically filled in when you log on to a website you've previously visited. * 1.6 Delete all -delete all Internet Explorer Browsing History button.
2. On the Security Tab, Security Level for this zone, adjust the level.... * 2.1 High -appropriate for websites that might have harmful content, maximum safeguards, less secure features are disabled. * 2.2 Medium-high -Appropriate for most websites, prompts before downloading potentially unsafe content, unsigned activeX controls will not be downloaded. * 2.3 Medium -prompts before downloading potentially unsafe content, unsigned activeX controls will not be downloaded. Note: Custom Level, Default Level & Reset all zones to default level buttons 3. On the Advanced Tab, Settings.... Browsing * Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) * Disable script debugging (Other)
